Agree regarding the second part. (Plenty of information is not classified but still rightly treated as sensitive.)

Like I said, I'm not happy with some of the policies supported mostly by the Democratic Party. (I do hesitate to mention which and maybe start an ugly argument with someone over those things, which are not relevant to my interests here.) In a democracy, or even a two-party semidemocracy, if I am particularly unhappy with one of those policies I can, as Joe Rogan recently remarked, vote Republican. "Throw the bastards out" is what people always used to say. But the GOP seeks to make it impossible to throw them out. IMHO, that's more dangerous than almost anything else a party might do. If I dislike my current employer and think of leaving, but an alternative would require me to sign myself into permanent servitude, I can pretty well assume that that employer would start abusing me even worse in the future, once I was trapped.
